Candle
Candle symbolism, plus the spook name Chandler, may be a translation pun, using the fact that in Arabic & Persian, “candle” puns with “playing” & “joking”, i.e. mockery. The spelling is equivalent to Hebrew Shema and the Biblical name Simeon, so both meanings must have existed in Phoenician times already.
