Leviticus
The Book of Leviticus does not advance the Biblical storyline, but contains only laws. Many of these laws are also repeated in Deuteronomy. I have only decrypted a small part so far: The laws about not “eating blood” and about not “revealing nakedness” all say that it’s forbidden to reveal spook disguises!
Introduction
The Book of Leviticus lists religious laws which are really encrypted spook laws, for moles & spies living among the unaware population to help subjugating them. The most important decryption puns are these:
- The laws are directed at the yšrˀl “Israelites”, who are probably meant to be the ˁzr-rˁl “veiled assistants” of the rulers among the population.
- One central law forbids to ˀkl-dm “eat blood”, which puns with not glˀ-dmˀ “revealing a disguise”. 🡻
- Another law forbids to ˀkl-nblh “eat corpses”, which puns with not glˀ-nbl “revealing a villany” committed by the rulers. 🡻
- Many laws forbid to glˀ-ˁrwt “reveal the nakedness” of family members, which in Aramaic spelling puns with not glˀ-yrwtˀ “revealing the heritage” of the family, i.e. the descent from the ruling class. 🡻
- Several laws forbid to ntn-škb “lay for intercourse” with various people, which puns with not ntn-škbh “showing the social class”, i.e. the affiliation with the ruling class. 🡻
- The spooks are supposed to be wary of the gr “strangers” dwelling among them, who are really the grˁ “inferiors” dwelling among them, i.e. the people of common birth on whom they are spying. 🡻
So on the surface, some laws are about not eating and some about not revealing, but they’re really all about not revealing things.

Don’t reveal disguises
If a veiled ruler reveals a disguise, we will cut him off.
This is the famous law about not eating blood. It’s a very clean & straightforward pun, of ˀkl dm “eat blood” with glˀ dmˀ “reveal a disguise”. Obviously, that’s strictly forbidden!

If one reveals a mockery, he must suppress the leak, or will be cut off.
This is the law about not eating carcasses. It’s a less straightforward pun, of ˀkl nblh “eat a carcass”, perhaps with glˀ nbl “reveal a villainy” or glˀ nbll “reveal a confusion”. While the previous law concerns personal disguises, this one seems to concern the enacted hoaxes. Apparently, it also mandates that all leaks be immediately suppressed, until trust is regained with the people.
