Sadly, the Bible seems to be ripe with puns & wordplay, some admitted, but many being secret inside jokes by the aristocracy. Often, a Biblical name has 2 explanations: One that fits the story, and one that hints at some aristocratic joke underneath. That may be the reason many Biblical names are also popular aristocratic names.
